Design Concept
Honoring the low-top, lightweight, ultra-shifty Kobe court frame — bulk stripped away to maximize a direct connection with the hardwood. The entire chassis acts as an open container for interchangeable SPO foam setups, built around a philosophy of pure adaptability. The upper combines advanced woven textiles fused with high-strength TPU strands and hot-melt reinforcement panels for structural longevity.

- Explosive 2.0 Drop-In Midsole: Full-length PEBA-based foam (similar to marathon super-shoe compounds) — noticeably lighter, more resilient, and bouncier than prior iterations while retaining elite court feel. Fully swappable for custom SPO setups.
- Ultra-Aggressive Traction: Tacky, multi-directional herringbone rubber outsole — instant stopping power on pristine indoor hardwoods and dusty outdoor courts alike
- Flawless Lockdown: Genuine midfoot carbon fiber shank + rigid 3D carbon fiber heel counter. Internal collar lined with abrasive directional “cat-tongue” microfiber fabric to completely prevent heel slippage.

Sizing & Fit
- True to Size (TTS) for Most: SPO re-engineered the last for this generation — lowered drop-in midsole sidewalls and opened up the toe box, completely fixing the toe-crushing sensation of the previous Player 1 Plus.
- Wide Feet / Prominent Bunion: Consider going up a half size. The intense lateral TPU containment wall prevents foot slide during hard cuts but can feel tight on very wide feet.
- No-Slip Step-In: The drop-in foam surface features micro-textures and nubs that lock against your basketball socks immediately upon step-in.
