The “Cherry Blossom” PE moves toward a soft pink palette, creating a lighter visual interpretation of the same silhouette.
The “Liberty” PE uses a blue-green treatment. Current Curry Moments retail listings identify this version as Liberty Island Blue, continuing the Liberty color story within the WOW 12 line.
The “Obsidian” PE uses a predominantly black treatment, creating the strongest tonal contrast with the other three pairs. Obsidian is also an established WOW 12 colorway name, with the standard release built around a dark, volcanic-glass-inspired visual concept.
Curry Branding on a Way of Wade Platform
The most distinctive part of the Curry Moments versions is the addition of Curry-specific branding to the Way of Wade 12.
Current Curry Moments product listings show changes such as co-branded tongue graphics, Curry Brand heel markings, and Curry-related outsole details. The underlying shoe remains visually recognizable as a WOW 12, but these elements give the PE versions a separate identity within the series.
That distinction is important: these are best understood as Way of Wade 12 Curry PE editions, rather than a new Stephen Curry signature shoe.
Built Around the WOW 12 Foundation
From their visible construction, the four Curry PEs continue the established design language of the Way of Wade 12. No separate full technical specification indicating a fundamentally different performance platform has been published for each of these PE versions.
The standard WOW 12 uses a two-layer SUPER BOOM midsole with a carbon-fiber plate, flexible TPU components around the heel, a TPEE toe box, and a GCU outsole. The standard “305” is officially listed at approximately 330 g for a single US Men’s 9.5 shoe.
For the Curry Moments versions, the main emphasis is therefore on PE color treatment, Curry branding, and the context surrounding Curry’s transition into the Li-Ning ecosystem, rather than the introduction of an entirely new shoe architecture.
